Cades Cove

Townsend, Tennessee, where the cabin is located, is the closest community to the world famous Cades Cove. In just 20 minutes, you can be in the middle of some of the most spectacular views in the Eastern US. Photograph the wildlife, hike to Abrams falls, or bike around the eleven mile loop as you enjoy the scenic Smokies.

Pigeon Forge

If you prefer human interaction, take the 30 minute drive to Pigeon Forge. Shop in the many factory outlet stores, try bungee jumping for the first time, or take in a dinner show at the Dixie Stampede. If you like theme parks, then Dollywood is a must. With musical shows, fantastic games, and a plethora of rides, there’s something for everyone.

Gatlinburg

Just ten minutes past Pigeon Forge is Gatlinburg. One of the most famous attractions there is the Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies. Other places to visit include Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort and the Space Needle that towers over downtown Gatlinburg.
